AH133  Northern Lights Deluxe 15 Oct 2016 -
15 Mar 2017

Are you a star gazer? Do you like your little luxuries? We’ve a real treat of a tour for you.

Come and experience the sheer magic of the Northern Lights, Iceland’s lustrous light show in the winter sky. This specially extended tour allows you many more hours getting acquainted with one of Iceland’s most celebrated and mischievous visitors, the dancing and entrancing Aurora Borealis.

We’ve thrown in lots of treats in this tour. First, we want to make sure you’re in tip top comfort. So, you get your own blanket to snuggle with in your reclining seat and extra leg room so that you can stretch out. Your seat also has its own table meaning you can dine in style on complimentary coffee, hot chocolate and water in addition to our tasty treat of a midnight snack.

Your trip will allow you many hours of Northern Lights magic and our friendly guides will share some fun facts and stories with you about the lights. Each tour is specially crafted to find the best place to go Northern Light spotting. Our many years of experience has taught us that by using detailed weather forecasts we can discover the best place in south west Iceland to see the lights. We do this before every one of our tours and so in this way each tour is different.

However, if the weather forecast predicts heavy cloud cover, we reserve the right to cancel. We do this at latest at 18.00 hrs. on the day of your tour.

As soon as we’ve made the decision we contact hotels and booking agents, so it’s best for you to ask your hotel or tour desk.

Whilst sharing this stunning show is one of our favorite things, we can’t guarantee sightings even if the “Northern Lights Deluxe” tour is operated (although our guides are working on their superhuman powers to create perfect Northern Lights conditions).

So, if you don’t see the Northern Lights, we’d like to give you a second tour, the AH33 Northern Lights Mystery Tour, and that’s our treat: you pay nothing for this second trip. To arrange this, just phone our tour desk on +354 540 1313 and we’ll be happy to book this for you.

Please Note:

A decision is taken daily at 6 pm whether the tour will take place or not. All hotels and booking agents in Reykjavik are informed by email about our decision so please contact the front desk of your hotel,Tour Desk or our sales office to find out whether we will be operating the tour.
Before we start this tour we always check the weather forecast around the south western part of Iceland. From experience, we decide where each journey will lead us, for the best possibilities to see the Northern Lights.

Easter in Iceland 2014
Easter in Iceland is both a religious holiday and a sign that winter is over. The latter usually proves spectacularly wrong, but as long as we get our chocolate Easter egg on Sunday morning, we're ok. Over Easter all our tours will be running according to schedule, our service desks in Hafnarst [ More ]
