Day tours and Airport Express
transfers - Terms and Conditions
Our activity tours can be booked online up to 24
hours before departures and other day tours and Airport Express transfers up to
90 minutes before departures.
When you book online you will receive a
confirmation by email stating departure times and the duration of the tours.
When pick up services are required they need to be booked and location
Tours and transfers can also be booked around the
clock over telephone at +354 540 1313 or via email at email@example.com. Online discounts do not apply when bookings are made this way.
Change of reservation
It is possible to change a reservation free of
charge up to 90 minutes prior to departure except for activity tours that must
be changed with 24 hours notice.
Cancellations of tours must be made over the phone
at +354 540 1313 or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org and
at least 24 hours prior to departure.

Drop off services
All day tours and Airport Express transfers start
from the Gray Line bus terminal at Holtagarðar 10, 104 Reykjavík at the departure time given on your voucher or booking
confirmation. It is the responsibility of the passengers to arrive at the tour
office in good time to
check in for their tours.
We offer complimentary pick up services for all our
day tours. Passengers wanting to take advantage of these complimentary pick up
are requested to wait outside their hotels 30 or 60 minutes prior to
the tour departure in order to board the pick up bus. Please see individual
tour descriptions for more information which pick up time applies to your tour.
Passengers are responsible for their pick up and must be in front of their pick
up place and visible from the street. These pick up services are also available
for Airport Express passengers but are additionally charged for and pick up
times are 30 minutes prior to the departure times from the terminal. Airport
Express passengers are also responsible for their pick up and must be in front
of their pick up place and visible from the street.
Passengers missing their pick up are responsible to
arrive at our bus terminal in good time to check in for their tour. Missing the
pick up or the tour bus does not entitle to a refund of the price paid for the
tour. Drop off after tours may sometimes not be right in front of your
hotel/guesthouse due to narrow streets and actual coach size used during the

Bicycles are not included in the free baggage
allowance. Bicycles are, at an extra charge, accepted as baggage if: Bicycles
are in a bag or a personal box

Passengers with special needs
If you have any special needs or requests you
should notify the Iceland Excursions customer service sales department as soon

It is permitted to have foldable wheelchairs in our
coaches without additional charges.
Safety on board the coaches
Our fleet at Iceland Excursions includes coaches of all types and sizes, which are all equipped with safety belts. We have a limited number of Children's Safety Car Seats available. These can be provided on request, free of charge. The safety and comfort of our customers is our main goal.
Iceland Excursions reserves the right to alter routes, itineraries or timetables should the necessity arise, including irregularities due to adverse weather or road conditions. No responsibility is taken for losses or expenses due to delay or changes of flights, injury, damages, negligence, weather, war or other unforeseeable causes. The estimated duration of tours as indicated on our website are standard times and can vary according to road or weather conditions. Punctuality is a key objective in Iceland Excursions operation. However, delays may occur for unforeseen reasons. The company cannot be made responsible for losses that a passenger may face due to delay, regardless whether the loss is direct or indirect. We reserve the right to alter or change the itinerary according to weather and road conditions.
