Most of you will probably wonder whether Equinox is a new play or some kind of equipment - as we did. But Equinox (or "Vorjafndægur" in Icelandic) is the term used twice a year when the night and day are approximately equally long. And today (20 March 2012) is that day, the next Equinox will be at 22 September of this year.
Those of you who are in Reykjavík at the moment might have noticed that the Imagine Peace Tower on the small island of Viðey is lit, celebrating the increasing daylight. It will brighten the sky above Reykjavík for a whole week.
